The place we stayed at was conveniently located near bars, restaurants, the metro station, and iconic landmarks like Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, plus the service was excellent.

Its ok for city trip

The food is nice with lots of options, including tea and eggs. The club king room is new-fashioned with full view to Burj Kalifa and rose petals, for instance.

Comfortable beds and a nice vibe here. the staff is super friendly, and the food is tasty 🍽️. the location is awesome, very convenient to get to City Walk Mall.

excellent location and thats it

very expensive hotel in compare to what they offer, room services is extremly bad, in room dinner takes long time, i complained about a dirty carpet in the room and later they did call me one day after i checked out to tell me that they found a stain on the carpet and they have to detect from my visa,, i wont go back there

Not a bad place, this hotel however would unlikely bring many new fans to the Shangri-La brand and certainly challenge the loyalty of old ones, like myself. It is not a place “to stay”, but rather no-frills busyness hotel to sleep the night over. The staff on the hotel floors is generally beyond reproach. The problems lie with the managerial vision and attitude.

The hotel staff, especially the doorman, are thoughtful. The hotel rooms are a nice size and well-appointed. The hotel offers early check-in and late check-out. The location is stunning, very close to a competitive local market and downtown Dubai.

The hotel offers a perfect view of the Shaikh Zayed Road skyline. Guests can enjoy tea and eggs in the morning in the lounge area. - It is very convenient to reach from Dubai airport, just 30 km away.

The service at the hotel is prompt and efficient. Clean and an absolutley wonderful hotel. Will continue to stay there during each visit to Dubai.

The only things we didn't like was how expensive the hotel laundry service is and how over priced and very bad the room service food was.
